Welcome to Beautify!
Beautify is owned by Katy Sutcliffe, established since June 2016.
Katy has recently moved house and is now based in Holbury, where she has set up a cosy home treatment room. There are no steps to enter this property making is much easier for clients with disabilities, and again like in the old house it's the first room on the left as you enter the property. This is only a temporary treatment room whilst the plan is to eventually convert the garage into a stunning home salon with a separate entrance meaning it will be more separated and private to the house. Katy hopes that next year 2026 the salon will be renovated!
Katy wanted to be able to create the professional beauty salon feel, but where people can feel at ease walking through the door, as she understands sometime people can feel intimated walking into a beauty salon full of people. Once the treatment door closed, this is your sanctuary where you can easily switch off from the world without any distractions, as this time is simply for you an no one else. Unlike a high street salon you wont get customers coming in and out, the phone continuously ringing and listening to other people's conversations. This is very much a personal one to one experience where you can feel at ease and everyone is welcome without any judgement.
Katy has ensured that her customers’ are comfortable and meets their needs. Everyone is welcome at Beautify, she welcomes both male and female clientele of all ages from teenagers to senior citizens.
Beautify is equipped with a heated, height adjustable electric beauty couch to ensure all of her customers can easily and safely be treated in comfort. With no expense spared on the latest equipment, products and furnishings as you would expect from a luxurious salon. You can also feel at ease in the knowledge that Katy follows strict salon safety and hygiene regulations ensuring that she is following proper disinfection practices and procedures consistent to the highest industry standards. Beautify is also fully qualified in NVQ level 2 and 3 beauty therapy and keeps regularly up to date with the latest trends and treatments.
Katy's Story

Katy has over 15 years’ experience working in the beauty industry, starting off working weekends whilst at Noadswood School at the Grand Harbour De Vere Hotel in their Spa, then moving onto Carey’s Manor SenSpa part time, whilst training at Totton College for her NVQ Levels 2 and 3 in Beauty Therapy. Katy also did her college work experience working two days a week alongside her Beauty course at Skincare Inc. in Dibden Purlieu. Katy has also worked on a self-employed basis in Hythe for over 6 years, whilst also working mobile for private clientele.
With all of this experience and knowledge behind Katy, it was always her long term dream and goal to own her own beauty business one day. The opportunity then fell into Katy’s hands when she moved house back in December 2016 with Husband Gregg. With lots of potential and thinking of their long term future and plans together they decided to build Katy own her beauty studio where she could now work from home and the flexibility and joys of final being her own boss.
Six months in the making of renovations and Beautify was then created in June 2017!
Since then Katy has never looked back, it was a huge risk but she has never been happier doing what she loves in the comfort and convenience of her own home. It has been a dream come true for Katy, she has so much passion and enthusiasm for her business. Katy has many loyal existing clients that have followed her over many years, but is also successfully growing her business and opening the doors to plenty of new clients.
In February 2024 Katy gave birth to her first child Bobbie, Katy took a few months of maternity leave and is now working part time and trying to grow the business again as she is gradually adding more hours and trying to juggle family life along side running her beloved business.
